Nous filons à l'auberge typique que j'ai réservé et où nous passerons deux nuits.
Même avec deux GPS, on a eu un peu de mal à trouver (la végétation couvrait l'enseigne!) Laughing

St Saviour's cottage.
Auberge rustique, pierres et poutres, cheminée, on a du chauffage dans la chambre et c'est fort agréable.
Dans mes notes, le menu du copieux 'english breakfast' : œufs, bacon, tomates, saucisses et le deuxième matin, haricots & boudin noir!

GUERNESEY

Les deux jours seront pluvieux et venteux! On ne marchera pas sur l'île d'Herm (on fera l'aller-retour en bateau, voir plus loin).
Cerise sur le gâteau, la maison de Victor Hugo vient de fermer pour 18 mois de travaux!
Nous ferons le 'grand tour' de l'île!

Construite par Frère Déodat à partir de 1914.
Le genre d'édifices qu'on aime (voir le Jardin de Rosa Mir (à Lyon)

Balade dans la capitale, St Peter Port.

Victor Hugo, en exile, passa 15 ans dans cette maison qui appartient à la ville de Paris. Donc, comme on a vu, fermée pour travaux quatre jours avant notre passage!

Nous embarquons pour un aller-retour jusqu'à la petit île tranquille d'Herm (60 habitants, pas de voiture!).
Pas le temps de débarquer et de se balader.
On profite du paysage!
